Practicing for an upcoming photo-shoot at the Mall. Nate chose the back ground. I will be practicing tomorrow. If you want your kids captures in some candid poses, like this beauty.... stop on by! I would love to snap a festive picture. #wearuglysweaters (I was going to facebook this but thought twice about it. Nate thinks his backdrop is fabulous.)

JAMES and an UPDATE
The two youngest love to sit here to watch television. I don't understand it. I bought the most comfortable couches in existence and they prefer the bar. I wish I could convince them not to, James has almost fallen off several times but seems to have the reflexes of a ninja and has always adverted catastrophe. Thankfully!
This little boy is seriously the cutest thing but is an absolute menace. If I had a fancier phone I would start an instagram account and use the hash tag #mymenace. He seriously gets into so much trouble. On Sunday, I asked Sierra to watch him while I took a bath and did my hair. She consented reluctantly and I should have taken that for a sign that it wasn't going to happen. He got a hold of four cubes of butter. Unwrapped all of them and smeared them on every surface he could find. I think any artist would be impressed with how thoroughly he cover his canvas, the chairs, the table, the counters, the floor. He was painting with butter. It was everywhere! Everywhere! Luckily, he confined his painting to the kitchen. I guess I can be grateful for that, but everyday it is something, something that makes me count to ten. Yesterday he got the chocolate powder and filled three different cups and was drinking it, dry powder. It was everywhere. This morning he ripped open a package of macaroni and cheese and started making it for himself, when I took it from him and tried to help. He grabbed some measuring cups and started scooping flour onto a plate. He emptied out the entire silverware drawer onto the floor the other afternoon. Whenever, he gets a marker he proceeds to draw on every service he can. When I get made he glares and me and yells and tosses the marker across the room. I spank him, not hard, and then I give him a rag and tell him to clean it up. The next time he finds a marker he is back to putting his art all over the wall.
Sunday was the first time he started to be done with girl things. He found a doll in my church bag. I asked him if he wanted it. He glared at me and threw it. His dad was proud. He has been carrying around cars lately and making car noises. I think our baby doll phase is over.
I often have these moments of absolute fear. I don't know how I am going to take care of a two year old, that is as busy as James, and a new born baby. I know a lot of people have done it before and two years is a decent space, but I am still so scared. Madison was four when I had James. Sierra was three when I had Madison. Sierra at three was more independent than Madison at four. I have never had two babies, so dependent on me for everything, the thought is killing me. Potty training was a complete disappointment. I don't want two babies in diapers, but I am scared to death to try again. I have resolved to wait until summer to try again.
I feel bad I haven't been updating on the house, but my parents and my sister Karalee and her husband Benje came out a few weekends ago. They were such huge help on the house. Although, we still have a ways to go, we are getting closer. I am still praying we can be in their before I have this baby, but I know it will take a miracle. I seriously can't imagine having it finally finished. It is going to be adorable. I will take lots of pictures when it is done.
