LOGAN WANTS TO LEARN

 Everytime I have Madison sit down at her desk she finds Logan has climbed up and sat down. Logan and Ashton want to learn more than Madsion and James. I am suprised at how eager my children are to learn and how quickly my home has turned into a house of learning. It just took turning off the television and pulling out books. Who knew it could be that easy.

JAMES'S BIRTHDAY

His dad was in Denver for his birthday and for date night, so I and James went on a date. He asked if we could invite his favorite person along, Lindsay. Then he politely suggested that I could stay home and he and Lindsay could go without me. I politely declined his suggestion. Lindsay was so sweet and bought him a remote control motorcycle. I got him the blue ninja's mech-dragon lego set. Then Nate bought him a remote control helicopter. He was spoiled. He got emotional when he found out Lindsay was going away for college in the fall. He will miss her. We will all miss her.

ASHTON's BIRTHDAY

Ashton was upset when his teacher reminded him he was no longer in nursery. He was inconsolable. She came and got me. I said, "Ashton it is your birthday! You are a big boy now. You get to go to primary." With tear stained eyes he looked at me and queried, "It's my birthday?" I said, "Yes! That is why you go to primary now." He was satisfied and followed his teacher to his class. When he got home he insisted it was his birthday. Nate suggested we just celebrate it. So, we did. I hadn't really gone shopping for his birthday. I had just picked up party favors and a movie but he loved it.
