My sister showed up with her sweet trio on Thursday. Nate suggested we rent a cabin in the woods. He thought it would be fun. I thought it would be stressful. We were both right. The children didn't notice the later part. They built great memories and I am glad Nate convinced us to get outside our comfort zone and try something new. Charlotte loved roasting smores.
All of the children loved exploring the cabin, it was such a sweet little place. The backyard was stunning. There were a million hummingbirds in the front of the house to watch. We went paddle boarding and kayaking the next day. The boys caught two fish. We took them back to the cabin and roasted them. They thought it was so fun to catch fish and eat them.
