Sierra tied this fly with her daddy's help. Nate let her pick out the feathers and strings.
MJ eating breakfast and watching a show her sister turned on, on a quiet Saturday morning.
Later that evening, CC and MJ took a bath. CC washed her own hair.
Shandra's wish was to celebrate her anniversary with friends the same way her and Stephen use to. We went out to dinner and then to light up night. At dinner I laughed so hard. Shandra and her friends are hilarious.
Then we went to light up night. I have never been. It was pretty spectacular. There were fireworks and then they lite up the tree on the point.
Lately, CC has really enjoyed the "I SPY" series at the library. This time when we went, she insisted on getting "Where's WALDO." She has spent hours looking for Waldo.
MJ really enjoys sitting or standing in this spot in my bedroom, where the window reaches the floor. Today, instead of just looking out on the beautiful view below, she was more interested in her reflection. I thought it was super cute when she kissed herself.
I made cauliflower soup for dinner. I thought it was amazing. Sierra took one big bit and proclaimed loudly, "yuck, " and pulled a really silly face. I puckered my lower lip and gave her a look that said you hurt my feelings. She rubbed my arm and said, "That's okay mom. This is just a yucky dinner but you will get better at it. The next dinner will be a good one." I thought the soup was to die for. I could have licked the bowl. If you dare to try the recipe and if your family is into cauliflower, here it is.
I love MJ's smile in this pictures. It makes me so happy. We ate eggs and toast for dinner last night (Saturday) because Dad was gone fishing.
Sierra wore her so cute outfit again today. I never did get a clear picture of it, so I was determined to do so today. She wouldn't stop squirming and making faces.
CC woke MJ up early from her afternoon nap. She supposedly had to get her pajamas because she couldn't stay in her dress all day. I wasn't happy. MJ wasn't happy all day. She fussed and fussed. I finally took them for a walk thinking the evening air would make them feel better. It didn't work. However, I got some really pretty pictures over the reservoir.
When we got back to the car Sierra found her Dad's flashlight and made some ghoulish faces.
MJ won't drink milk in her bottle, but I discovered she will drink chocolate milk. Hmmmmm. Definitely her Grandpa Craven's granddaughter. (Not that he likes chocolate milk, but he does like his milk and chocolate.)

Sierra said something sad to me the other day. She said, "I don't want to go to primary anymore." I asked her why. She said, "Because all the other kids know the answers, but I don't know any of the answers." That made me sad. I have been trying to do more of this.
Which resulted in some of this.
And some of this. (She is stuck in my elliptical.)
Later on in the day, I did enjoy the spirit and felt blessed when I looked on this.
And this.
MJ was pulling up the back of my shirt and putting her little patty-cakes on my lower back. I was squirming to get away. It made MJ laugh really hard. It was in the middle of prayer. CC was praying and she added these words,"Thank you for MJ's laugh. Thank you that MJ has cut hair like a boy cause that makes me laugh."
