My girls had their first piano recital. They just started. They were both using one hand to play Jolly Old Saint Nicolas. Sierra was upset when I told her that her piano teacher was going to leave her out of the recital. I tried to explain to her, in the nicest way, that her teacher didn't want her to feel bad when she was playing baby songs and the other kids her age were playing actual music. She insisted. Then she was super embarrassed at the recital and she didn't want to do it, but she did and I was proud of her. They both did great. I am excited to continue to watch them progress.
