PRACTICING NUMBERS

I have never thought a lot about numbers. Sierra has naturally been drawn to letters. She really wants to read and write. She loves to practice writing letters and words. However, numbers are something we have neglected. PBS, our favorite television station, doesn't really have any number programs. There aren't a lot of well written childrens books on numbers. Nate taught her how to write her numbers by giving her ten by ten boxes and having her fill them. She has asked for more, so I have printed her more. I am really casual about her learning. I just give her things to work on if she asks for them. I am grateful she naturally drawn to learning and works hard at it.
