The other day Sierra decided to put a play on for her baby sister and I. She used the shower curtain as her stage curtain. She got all her hats and all her stuffed animals and put on a show for us. It was very nonsensical but fun to see her want to perform.
MJ thought it was a blast. She kept waiting right next to the tub's edge for the curtain to open again.
Sierra loves this fishing game I picked up for her a few years ago. Half the fish are missing parts of their head but she still thinks it is the greatest.
When she was done playing the real game, she invented a new game. She and MJ stood at the sink for hours playing with these fish and the water. Every time they disappeared for a significant amount of time I could find them back at the sink with fish or Polly's.
Another day this week we got out the play dough and made pooh. Did I say pooh? No, we would never say that word, or form play dough into pooh shapes, how unlady like. I am sure I meant something else. Worms, we were making worms. No, necklaces, that is it we were making necklaces.
Note: One of the days CC actually got dressed. Yes, another small miracle.

This is a testament to the fact that kids don't need tons of toys. I loved it the most when my kids played with dumb stuff and their imaginations. It was the best and kept them busy for hours. Water play never hurts either!
I have the same fish game with half the heads missing. I keep thinking I am going to throw it away, I don't even think we have poles. Now I think I will throw them in the bath. Tess and Ty will love them. (Love the pic of the dangling fish.)
