I guess I still don't get light.
I am still very uncomfortable with it.
Most of my really good images were taken on overcast days or in a doorway or overhang.
Dealing with the sun, so directly, is a little bit more difficult than I anticipated.
If I wait till all the light is flat, meaning the sun is low enough in the sky not to create shadows. I don't have enough light to get my settings where they need to be. There has to be shadows. If I have Sierra look into the light, the catch light in her eyes is beautiful, but my shadow can get in the way. The other directions she has a halo on her head and her eyes are dead. Placing her side toward the sun, puts a shadow from her nose on her cheek.
Help!
I need help. Anyone?
